It's soft and fleecy. That's why it is named as "Fleece Dog." With a magical needle and the raw wool (sheep wool and dog hair), you can make adorable miniatures of your dogs. Bunka Publishing Bureau of Japan published the first "Fleece Dog" book in July 2004. It immediately won popularity among both handicraft lovers and dog lovers. “Fleece Dog” has attracted attention from a number of media organizations. When “Stylish Workshop” (Oshare Kobo), a popular TV program on NHK (Japanese public broadcasting station), featured this book, people outside Japan also have come to know about Fleece Dog because this program is also broadcast overseas. We hear from many readers of “Fleece Dog” in Japan that they would like us to put together a new book that covers more breeds of dogs and introduces a way to use the hair of their dogs. We plan to have a new book published abroad, and then bring it back into Japan.

Reviews
SINCO developed an innovative technique by adopting hair implanting to achieve what the conventional technique of needle punching alone could not. In addition, she established a method to make a frame that allows you to pose your finished pieces the way you like. In this sequel, she introduces how to blend dog hair and make a slightly larger dog with a lifelike texture. Every day dog lovers brush their dogs, and then throw away the loose hair. One of the concepts of this new book is to use the loose hair to make cute miniature dogs. Using dog hair alone doesn't work, because it's hard to interlock, so she blends sheep wool similar to the dog hair in color and texture. The sequel has better tips on how to make your Fleece Dogs look more real. It will also show you how to make dogs of about twenty breeds including popular ones and ones that are not in the first "Fleece Dog."
