One of the hottest writers to make an appearance at the Singapore Writers Festival this year (Oct. 30 – Nov. 8) was world renowned crime writer, Fuminori Nakamura, a self-declared pessimist with a dark personality. Nonetheless, he ended up charming the audience there with his fascinating talk.

Japanese Writers’ House accompanied Nakamura to the festival and helped arrange an interview for The Straits Times.
